The Institute of Crime Prevention and Control was established in 2001. Since its establishment, it has held over 10 international conferences, undertaken over 50 relevant topics, set up 8 research bases, finished 16 research reports, published over 10 monographs, and published research over 100 research results. All the academic achievements center on the topics such as restorative justice, the cohesiveness of criminal law and its execution, juvenile justice, digital governance of crime, risk assessment of recidivism, criminal psychological correction, prevention and treatment of duty crimes, criminal defense, etc. The results have effectively facilitated practical works such as criminal psychological correction, legalization of victim-offender reconciliation, psychological prevention and treatment of duty crimes, judicial protection of minors, digital governance of crimes, etc.
