Founded in 2020, Nanjing University Law Journal (bimonthly) is a Chinese law academic journal sponsored and supervised by Nanjing University. Its predecessor was Nanjing University Law Review in 1994, which was the earliest law review journal in China.

 

Featured by the hermeneutics of law and the history of law, based on the notion of spreading and explaining the latest research results in the field of legal study, Nanjing University Law Journal has published a large number of outstanding legal papers, which spread knowledge, pass down civilization, and serve the development of society and economy. It has become an important law academic platform for solving Chinese issues and making conclusions, displaying Chinese achievements, and building a Chinese school of law, striving to become a first-class law journal in China as soon as possible.

 

At present, Nanjing University Law Journal is a source journal on the extended list of “China Social Sciences Citation Index” (CSSCI), which has been included in full text by many well-known professional periodical databases, such as China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Peking University Law, and China Academic Journal Network Publishing Database.
